Job advertisement: Working student (m/f/d) or intern (m/f/d) Assistant to the Founder in Business Development
As a working student or intern / Assistant to the Founder in Business Development, you will be an important part of our interdisciplinary start-up team at iovo GmbH in Cologne, with which we aim to structurally advance the digitization of the German hospital landscape.
With iovo|doc, we offer a highly modular and intelligent software-as-a-service solution that can adapt to clinic processes and treatment paths using state-of-the-art programming. In this way, we solve the structural resource problems of clinics by combining lean patient management with the overarching optimization of clinic processes.
We pursue the philosophy of developing clinic software in such a way that it focuses on treatment paths and patients, relieves the clinical staff, minimizes the IT effort and creates networking & promotes innovation.
Your main tasks:
- You conduct analyses (e.g. about the market) and derive concrete recommendations for action for the company / our customers
- You will accompany us in the preparation and implementation of trade fair appearances, congresses and appointments at clinics on site
- You may independently drive topics, e.g. the development of a social media strategy or strategic partnerships with other companies
- In addition, you will support us in various topics in order to successfully build up and further develop the company

Your expertise:
- You are studying health economics, social economics, business administration or medicine (or a comparable course of study)
- You have very good analytical skills and enjoy solving complex problems
- You combine the ability to work in a team with a high level of self-motivation and reliability as well as a strong sense of responsibility
- You are also willing to familiarize yourself with problems of the health care system
- You have a very good command of German and English and are not afraid to communicate with customers
Start date, working hours and work location:
Ideally you will be available from February 2023. The duration of the position is initially limited to 6 months (20h or 40h/week), but can be extended or (slightly) shortened. Your work location is hybrid in our Cologne office and home office.
Remuneration:
The remuneration is 12 Euro per hour.
