fr3n.tech receives funding from Start-up Transfer.NRW

fr3n.tech, a promising start-up in the field of Web3 technologies, has been successfully selected for the Start-up Transfer.NRW funding program. The state of North Rhine-Westphalia and the European Union are supporting a total of 14 innovative start-ups from universities with funding of around 3.6 million euros. The program, which runs until 2027, aims to promote the development of knowledge-based solutions in society, create jobs and strengthen the competitiveness of the economy.

The fr3n.tech team will be supported by the funding program over the next 21 months. The application-oriented research project focuses on researching the latest developments in the Web3 sector. The start-up is focusing on researching the rapidly innovating blockchain environment with the sub-areas of account abstraction, dynamic NFTs (non-fungible tokens) and blockchain interoperability. The aim is to develop white label software that will enable creators and companies to create digital collectibles (NFTs) and use them for innovative marketing and engagement campaigns as well as membership and loyalty programs. They work with the latest developments in technology to simplify and streamline the use of wallets, smart contracts and blockchains. The fr3n.tech team consists of two software engineers, Dennis Schwichtenberg (Web2) and Lukas Scholten (Web3), as well as Dr. Maximilian Bader (Business) and Colin Borremans (Product). Further information about fr3n.tech can be found here.

We congratulate fr3n.tech on this significant milestone and look forward to following its progress and success as part of the Start-up Transfer.NRW program.
