New article published in the journal "Cleaner Engineering and Technology"
Prof. Dr. David Bendig, Dr. Lucas Kleine-Stegemann and Kristin Gisa from the Institute for Entrepreneurship have published their article "The green manufacturing framework—A systematic literature review" in the new journal "Cleaner Engineering and Technology".
The article covers a highly topical and exciting subject area: How can the current research landscape be described in relation to "green manufacturing" - i.e., ecological production? Thus, the publication also joins the series of "green" research from the chair.
Green manufacturing is a possible solution to advancing climate change. Among other things, the principle is used to reduce high emissions and energy consumption in production or to describe technologies that produce less waste or use more environmentally friendly raw materials. In their article, the authors conduct a systematic literature review of the evolution of green manufacturing research. They develop a framework consisting of the influences, elements, and results of green manufacturing and derive three potential new research topics.
