Research Associate (m/f/d) (E 13 TV-L) with focus on blockchain or digital innovation

The Institute for Entrepreneurship at WWU has a vacancy for the following position as of the next possible date or by arrangement position as
Research Assistant (m/f/d) (E 13 TV-L)with focus on blockchain or digital innovationin connection with a PhD project.
The position is offered on a part-time basis (75%) for a period of 3 years, with the option of extension.

 

Your tasks:

  • Capturing trends in digitization and/or blockchain technology
  • Connection of science and practice
  • Active engagement in the community of the REACH - EUREGIO Start-up Center
  • Participation in related research, esp. conception, implementation and analysis of empirical investigations
  • Focused participation in the area of third-party funding applications and practice transfer
  • Preparation and presentation of scientific publications
  • Participation in the teaching of the chair in bachelor and master degree programs as well as further education programs of the industry at the WWU Münster
  • Participation in administrative project activities and public relations work

 

Our expectations:

  • Scientific university degree (Master) in (business) computer science, engineering sciences, natural sciences, business administration, economics or a related field has been completed with great success or will be completed shortly
  • Solid knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken (C1)
  • Sound knowledge of quantitative methods from your discipline is desirable
  • Proven programming skills (e.g. in Python) would be an advantage
  • Competent appearance to represent the field in lectures and publications to the outside world represent
  • Intercultural as well as interdisciplinary experience ideally in the form of a stay of several months stay abroad
  • Ability to work in a team, communication skills, organizational skills and independent working style
