The Institute for Entrepreneurship publishes a new article in the Journal of Cleaner Production

Journal of Cleaner ProductionThe author group of the Chair of Entrepreneurship consisting of Prof. Dr. David Bendig, Dr. Lucas Kleine-Stegemann, Dr. Colin Schulz and Dr. David Eckhardt have published their new article "The effect of green startup investments on incumbents' green innovation output" in the Journal of Cleaner Production.

The climate crisis and its attendant consequences are one of the most topical and debated issues of the day. The article addresses green entrepreneurship by deepening the authors' understanding of the different roles of incumbents and startups and their joint interplay in the green transformation of markets. It illustrates that investing in green startups is a good strategic option for greening incumbents, and green CVC is positively related to the green innovation output of incumbents in the process. The results of the study also enable an assessment of the sustainability impact of startups across company boundaries.

The authors would like to thank you for your kind support of their work.

Enjoy reading and congratulations to the authors!
