Beat Weichsler wrote his bachelor thesis at our chair and dealt with the topic of "Blockchain" against the background of the increasing interdependence of national economies and the consequently growing importance of the global logistics sector.

The work shows how this innovative key technology is changing the field of global logistics. His work, titled "Supply Chain Automation with Smart Contracts - Assessing Potentials of Blockchain Technology in the Logistics Sector", has now been published in the conference proceedings for the Scientific Track of the Blockchain Autumn School 2022.
