Chair Transformation of Work

Join our dynamic and collaborative team of the newly established Chair and shape research in the future of work! The Chair Transformation of Work focuses on leadership and collaboration in changing and challenging work environments. In particular, we are examining how radical technological (e.g., augmented reality, AI) and societal (e.g., multiculturalism, political polarization) change affects organizations, organizational units, employees and the future of work and how change initiatives and digital transformations are managed successfully. We conduct theory-driven empirical research, publish in top-tier journals (e.g., Academy of Management Journal, Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Product Innovation Management), and work closely with practice partners and leading international scholars.

If you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact Prof. Dr. Julia Backmann (currently at the University College Dublin  https://people.ucd.ie/julia.backmann).
