Institute for Entrepreneurship receives Best Family Business Paper Award

Florian Bartels received the Best Family Business Paper Award from the Finnish Family Firms Association.

A research paper of the Institute for Entrepreneurship was awarded with the Best Family Business Paper Award of the Finnish Family Firms Association. The award was sponsored for the first time by the Finnish Family Firms Association and was presented at the 35th Research in Entrepreneurship Conference (RENT) for exceptional theoretical and methodological research with practical implications for family businesses. RENT is a leading academic, European entrepreneurship conference.

The jury awarded the paper "The Mitigating Impact of Family Firm Narcissism on Companies' Carbon Emissions." The author Florian Bartels was on site in Finland to receive this award. At the conference, 244 recent papers from academia and practice were presented, of which only four studies received one of the coveted Best Paper Awards.
