Since 2010 the Muenster Institute of Accounting and Taxation offers a summer program for students from Virginia Tech (Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University Blackburg, Virginia). The program brings between 25 to 50 students to Münster. 

The program includes a broad spectrum of courses, business trips, cultural and social events. On the weekends students travel all over Europe. Some of the U.S. students live in guest families while others stay at student dorms.
