Annual Tax Conference Proceeds Next Week
On July 11th and 12th, the Institute of Accounting and Taxation hosts its annual EIASM Conference in Current Research in Taxation. In its 12th iteration, we welcome researchers from around the world with an interest in empirical tax research to attend the presentations and discussions of 18 interesting and current research projects. Among the highlights of the conference are the presentations of our keynote speakers. On July 11th, Erin Towery, Associate Professor and KPMG Faculty Fellow at the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia, will give her keynote speech on "Insights Gained from a Decade of Working With the IRS". On July 12, Bridget Stomberg, Weimer Faculty Fellow at the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, will present to the audience her "Thoughts on the Future of Tax Research".
