CEAT meets Henkel
The CEAT semester continued with an exciting company visit to Henkel in Düsseldorf. Last week, the students had the opportunity to gain valuable insights into the work of the company’s tax department. The group was welcomed by Bettina Rodenberg and her team, who provided fascinating perspectives on current tax issues and the practical challenges faced by an internationally operating corporation.
The visit focused on several highly relevant topics, including Working From Abroad, the Global Minimum Tax (Pillar Two), and the tax aspects of M&A transactions. In addition, participants received interesting insights into Henkel’s history and development. The combination of theoretical knowledge from their studies and real-world case examples once again demonstrated the value of collaboration between academia and industry.
Special thanks go to Leif-Ole Baehr for the excellent organization of the visit. Events like these not only provide valuable professional insights but also strengthen the dialogue between academia and practice, while showcasing the diversity of career opportunities in the field of taxation.
