At the beginning of the 2025/2026 winter semester, the students of the CEAT excellence program were invited by PwC. On the occasion of a workshop on international tax law, the students traveled to PwC’s offices in Düsseldorf. After a short tour of the building, the academic part of the event began. Through brief case studies and abstract examples, the students were introduced to the work of PwC’s team. Corporate structures in an international context were discussed and examined with regard to their tax implications. The interactive discussions quickly made it clear that the topics covered in the lecture halls are also of great relevance in practice. After the academic part of the workshop, the students had the opportunity to network with the PwC Düsseldorf team. Over food and drinks, enriching conversations took place. With many interesting impressions gained, the students of the scholarship program then returned to Münster.
