A Get-Together Between the Taxation of Influencers and the Foosball Table

In the summer semester 2025, the CEAT support initiative program started with a visit to KPMG in Münster. The students were invited to KPMG's offices at LVM-Versicherung. After a short introduction by KPMG, the participants of the CEAT program were given interesting insights into the taxation of influencer marketing. Not only the income tax consequences, but also the VAT consequences were relevant. After the exciting presentations, the participants had the opportunity to ask questions in a pleasant atmosphere. After a short tour of the KPMG offices, the afternoon ended with a table soccer tournament. Students and KPMG employees also had the opportunity to socialize over food and drinks. After this successful kick-off event, the anticipation for the upcoming semester program was all the greater.
