How Do Companies Survive Crises?
EY Dortmund Visiting Münster
The CEAT winter semester concluded with an insightful lecture delivered by representatives of EY Dortmund. Michael Kleene (Tax Advisor and Partner) and his colleagues provided students with an in-depth look at how companies navigate times of crisis and the tax implications that arise as a result. The topic has gained particular relevance in light of the war in Ukraine, trade tariffs, and broader geopolitical tensions. The session specifically addressed how companies can be optimally supported from a commercial-law and tax-law perspective in order to withstand crises. The event, and with it the CEAT year 2025, came to a pleasant close with a social get-together featuring food and drinks.
