The Institute of Public Economics I takes a significant part of teaching the theoretical and microeconomic education and provides lectures on bachelor, master and doctoral student level.
Our Institute’s research focus is on theoretical work concerning selected topics of public economics.
The seminar will be held next summer semester on 18. June, 2026.
The specific topics will be published in the Learnweb as soon as they are available.

Registration
We will conduct the review of the following exams on Thursday, 09.10.2025 from 10:00 to 11:30: Microeconomics, Steuerpolitik/Allgemeine Steuerlehre and Public Economics (all written in summer term 2025). The exam review will take place in the library of the Institute of Public Economics (Wilmergasse 6-8).
Im Wintersemester 2025/2026 werden zwei Seminare für Bachelorstudierende angeboten: 1) Seminar zur empirischen Finanzwissenschaft - Steuern und Transfers in Deutschland 2) Seminar zur Finanzwissenschaft: Krisenpolitik.
We will conduct the review of the following exams on Monday, 14.04.2025 from 10:00 to 12:00: Microeconomics, Steuerpolitik, Allgemeine Steuerlehre, Spezielle Steuerlehre and Foundations of Economic Ethics.
The seminar will be held next summer semester on May 23, 2025.
