There are reasonable grounds for believing that applicants have a good grasp of English if they have studied at a university, spent a semester or served an internship in an English-speaking country. The same is true of persons who have successfully completed a BA in which lectures, seminars and tutorials were held in English.

Furthermore, one of the following official Language certificates are accepted: TOEFL, TOEIC, IELTS, Cambridge (minimum level B2).

Applicants are required to hand in documents in order to substantiate their claims relating to their linguistic competence. Vague and general references to languages in a CV will not be deemed sufficient. English learnt at school or English courses at university are not taken into consideration.

Applicants who meet the subject-specific and language requirements are deemed eligible for selection and are awarded points for their strengths and achievements. The maximum number of points that can be awarded to each applicant is 100. The strengths and achievements that are taken into consideration are as follows:

You are a top applicant but do not meet the subject-specific admission requirements?

Candidates with official proof that they were among the best 10 percent of the final-year students in their age group are eligible for selection, even though they do not meet the subject-specific admission requirements.
