    How do I register for a CDC workshop?

    Registration takes place via the registration form after the semester program has been published.

    Are CDC workshops free of charge?

    • Participation in the CDC workshops within the faculty is free of charge for students.

    Are the CDC workshops held in German or English?

    • Many workshops are offered in both German and English. The language of the respective workshop is indicated in the workshop description.

    Can I attend multiple workshops in one semester?

    • Yes, you can register for as many workshops as you like within a semester. Please make sure to keep the dates free when registering – even if they are several months away. If you miss a workshop without canceling, you will be blocked from registering for the next workshop.

    Can I get credits for the workshops?

    • The CDC can provide a certificate of participation, but the workshops cannot be counted for academic credit.

    How do I stay informed about the latest offerings?

    Who can use the CDC offerings?

    • CDC offerings are aimed at students of all semesters in the School of Business & Economics. Students from the School of Business & Economics have priority when registering; however, CDC offerings are generally open to all students at the University of Münster.

    Can the CDC help me find an internship?

    • The CDC can issue an internship confirmation that certifies your internship is voluntary or recommended as a core part of a business-related degree program.

    How can I best get in touch with companies?

    • The Career Development Center offers a variety of lectures and workshops that help you engage with company representatives and make your first professional contacts while still studying.

    How do I find an internship abroad?

    • Applying for an internship abroad can be confusing at first. The CDC offers an initial consultation to discuss opportunities for an international internship and the first steps to take.

    How can I finance an internship abroad, and are there scholarships or funding options?

  • Application Process: From CV to Interview

    What support does the CDC provide for creating and optimizing application documents, especially the CV, and is it possible to have them reviewed?

    • The application check offered by the university-wide Career Service is available to all students and graduates of the University of Münster up to one year after graduation. You will receive feedback on the content and formulation of your cover letter and CV. Reviewing a sample application is intended to help you apply these strategies to other applications as well.
    • In addition to personal counseling by the Career Service, you can also use our informational materials to prepare for your application.

    How can the CDC support me in preparing for assessment centers and job interviews?

    • In the CDC orientation workshops, you reflect on your personal goals and deliberately build skills for your individual career path. Central topics such as the application process, assessment centers, and one-on-one coaching are also covered. These workshops are a fixed part of the semester program.
