With an extensive range of lectures and workshops, the Career Development Center (CDC) of the School of Business & Economics supports you with your application process and career planning even during your studies. 

In the summer semester 2025, the following events will be offered: 

• Accenture AI Case Challenge

  Join Accenture consultants in the search for the future and experience digital transformation up close through a hands-on case study.

  Work with us to develop potential applications of artificial intelligence for a German bank. Together, we will generate ideas, assess their feasibility, and analyze their potential. In the end, you will present your pilot use case—a concrete concept that will help guide the bank into the digital future. Become part of a dedicated team and feel the energy unfold as vision and strategy come together!

  The event will be rounded off with a shared dinner, refreshing drinks, and plenty of opportunities for networking.

• Brand Evolution with Batten & Company

  In our workshop, we will work together on a real client project.
  We will develop a positioning strategy, create a concept for the new brand identity, and identify relevant communication channels and touchpoints for a leading automotive manufacturer.

  During the evening program that follows, you will have the opportunity to get to know the consultants from Batten & Company better. We will share insights into our daily consulting work, our projects, and our clients—and, of course, answer any questions you may have.

• Containerization with BBHT

  Containerization has become an integral part of modern software development and operations. This workshop offers you a practice-oriented introduction to the world of Docker and Podman. You will not only learn the theoretical basics, but also gain valuable hands-on experience.

• Let's talk sales w/ Beiersdorf

  Interested in a sales career at one of Germany’s top employers? We’ll show you what it means to work in sales at Beiersdorf, with a special focus on negotiation in this workshop. Through a case study, you will learn what it takes to conduct a successful negotiation—and by the end, you’ll be sitting at the negotiation table yourself.

  During the informal get-together afterward, you’ll have the chance to meet the Beiersdorf team and ask any questions you’ve always had about working in sales.
