With an extensive range of lectures and workshops, the Career Development Center (CDC) of the School of Business & Economics supports you with your application process and career planning even during your studies. 

In the winter semester 2025/26, the following events will be offered: 

  • The A.S.I. Application Guide – November 10

    The Secret to Successful Applications – Mastering the Application Marathon

    Starting your professional career can often feel like running a marathon: job search, application documents, interviews, salary negotiations, and finally signing the employment contract. To make sure you don’t stumble along the way, the A.S.I. training provides you with valuable insider tips – from A for “Arbeitsmarkt” (job market) to Z for “Zusatzqualifikation” (additional qualification).

    You will learn how to present yourself with confidence, design convincing application materials, and impress in conversations with employers. In addition, you’ll gain insights into economic topics that are especially important for young professionals. This way, you’ll be well prepared to improve your chances and successfully make it through the application marathon.

  • Assessment Center Training with PwC – November 20

    Assessment Center Training with PwC – Convince with Confidence

    Whether for a trainee program, direct entry, or an internship – many companies rely on assessment centers to identify the best candidates. To help you shine in this special selection setting, PwC offers you a practical training session.

    You will gain insights into how typical exercises are structured, what assessors look for, and which strategies help you present yourself with confidence. Together, we will practice situations such as group tasks, case studies, or presentations, and you will receive individual feedback. This way, you’ll head into your next assessment center well prepared, more confident, and ready to convince with your personality and skills.

  • Insights into Pentesting & Web Security – A Workshop with viadee – November 24

    Insights into Pentesting & Web Security – A Workshop with viadee

    How do typical hacker attacks on web applications actually work – and how can you protect yourself against them? In this hands-on pentesting workshop, you and fellow students will slip into the role of security testers, identify vulnerabilities, and gain valuable experience in the field of web security. The experts from viadee will guide you through the workshop, provide input, support you in the exercises, and share helpful tips on attack techniques and effective countermeasures.

    The focus is on exchange, collaboration, and the opportunity to network with fellow students and viadee consultants.
