Recently, Beatrice Schult participated in the GSERM Global School in Empirical Research Methods at the University of St. Gallen, an international doctoral program focused on advanced research methods.
As part of the program, Bea attended the course “Qualitative Comparative Analysis (QCA)” taught by Peer Fiss. The course focused on configurational approaches that explore how multiple pathways can lead to similar outcomes and provide a different perspective on complex organizational phenomena.
Recently, members of ChanCe participated in the EURAM 2026 Conference in Kristiansand, Norway. Under the conference theme “Navigating High Waters - Managing in an age of disruption,” researchers from across Europe came together to discuss current developments and future directions in management research.

Recently, members of ChanCe participated in the 10th e-HRM International Conference in Münster. Under the theme “Beyond AI: HRM and the Work of the Future,” researchers from around the world came together to discuss how digital technologies are reshaping work, organizations, and human resource management.
Prof. Dr. Sebastian Hohenberg, Chair of Digital Transformation and Co-Director of the Center for Business Transformation, has been named an Outstanding Reviewer by the Journal of Marketing.

As part of the Paper Development Workshop in Bern, which brought together selected PhD researchers working on human–AI collaboration in organizational contexts, ChanCe researcher Letizia Tschetsche presented her ongoing research on generative AI (GenAI) in knowledge work.
Focusing on reputation-sensitive, cross-functional settings such as corporate communication, where teams take on quality assurance roles for corporate communication, her work examines how generative AI is embedded in everyday workflows and how it reconfigures professional roles and interactions.

Simona completed her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at the University of Göttingen and recently finished her Master’s degree in Business Administration with a major in Marketing and a minor in Entrepreneurship at the University of Münster. During her studies, she gained international experience through semesters abroad in the United States and Sweden.
From May 14–16, Sebastian Hohenberg and Maximilian Prell participated in the 2026 AMA Marketing Strategy Consortium in Atlanta.
The conference brought together researchers from different universities and career stages to discuss current developments and future directions in marketing strategy research. Across the various sessions and informal discussions, a wide range of topics was explored, including AI and machine learning in marketing, digital consumer behavior, and emerging research methods.🔍
