Online course catalogue
After starting the course catalogue app, you will find yourself in the ‘My studies’ tab. Here you can click through to the module list to the modules you are looking for. Once you have found the module you are looking for, you can open the details. You will be taken to the overview of the selected module with several tabs. At the top left you will find the name of the module and below it the technical module number. Please always quote the technical module number if you have any queries about the module.
- Courses
Within the module, you can book courses (in the Courses tab). As soon as you have booked a course, the module and the course will be displayed in the ‘Module overview’ app and in your timetable. - Exam registration
In the ‘Examinations and grades’ tab, you can then register and deregister the necessary examination and coursework during the registration phases. When you register for an examination, it will be displayed in the app "Examinations and coursework" as well as "Module overview".
Please note that all required courses (lecture/seminar and exercises/tutorials) must be booked and the examinations and coursework passed in order to complete a module. Only completed modules will be included in your transcript of records when calculating your average grade.
here are various search options in the online course catalogue.

Course timetable
The timetable app is self-explanatory. Here you can view your curriculum, consisting of the courses you have booked. You can also access the app by clicking on the ‘Calendar’ tab in the online course catalogue. -
Module overview
All started and completed modules are displayed in the module overview app. Started modules are displayed at the top of the list. A module is considered to have started when you book a course. You can see the courses you have booked in the module and the examinations and coursework you have registered for. You can navigate from the module to the online course catalogue by clicking on a booked course, for example. In the online course catalogue, you can then cancel bookings (as long as the status of the course is set to ‘TB’) or register and deregister for examinations.
Completed modules are displayed under the modules started in the list. In these modules, the module grade is displayed at the top right. This grade is usually included in your final grade. Your individual examination results for the corresponding module and the statistics for the examination are displayed.
Note: If you do not book the course at the same time as registering for examinations, it is advisable to go to the online course catalogue via the module overview app to register for examinations.
-
Examinations and coursework
Your registered examinations will be displayed in a list in the Examination and coursework app. Clicking on a registered examination will take you to the online course catalogue. There you can deregister the examination within the deregistration period.
You can also view your graded examination results.
No booked courses are displayed here.
-
Theses (registration)
Please use this app to register your theses. You select a first examiner and suggest a topic. The first examiner must then adapt and accept the topic. Once the examination office has confirmed the theses, the processing period begins.
You can view the topic and the deadline at any time.
The "Leitkarte" currently in use will be replaced by this app.
-
Provisional ToR
In this app you can generate a verifiable Transcript of Records. Verification takes place via a QR code. You can have the ToR issued in German or English. The language changes with the selected system language.
Please note that provisional ToRs always include failed attempts. The failed attempts are not shown on the final ToR.
