1^st European Risk Conference, Münster
On September 6/7, 2007, the Chair of International Accounting hosted the 1^st European Risk Conference. More than 80 participants from 14 different countries discussed recent developments in risk research and made new contacts with colleagues working in the field of risk management. The conference was the first in a series of four conferences on risk management, internal control and corporate governance that are organised by the European Risk Research Network (ERRN) and funded by the EU’s Marie Curie programme. 9^th Manufacturing Accounting Research Conference, Münster
The 9^th Manufacturing Accounting Research Conference was held in Münster on June 21-24, 2009, where scientists from all over the world discussed recent developments in management accounting in services and operations. The conference was hosted by the Chair of International Accounting in cooperation with the European Institute for Advanced Studies in Management (EIASM). It continues a series of international conferences established in 1993 and held every two years in different European cities. 85 scientists from 20 different countries attended this conference.
