Student representatives

The student representatives of the School of Business and Economics are official representatives of the school’s students and, as such, represent their interests towards the professors and the university. It takes part in numerous committees and bodies (e.g. Committee for Curriculum Reform and Student Services, Examination Committee, Faculty Board), thus actively participating in the school’s work. It is the second and no less important task of the student representatives to support the students in all issues concerning their studies. During the semester, the office of the student representatives in the Judiricum/Oeconomicum is open from Monday to Thursday from 10 am to 4 pm and on Fridays from 10 am to 2 pm. In addition to events, first and foremost the “JuWi-Fest”, the student representatives also organise the graduation ceremony and the fresher’s week in order to make the first steps into their studies in Münster easier for new students.

The International Student Services (ISS) are also part of the student representatives’ broad field of activities. They include advisory services for students who are interested in studying abroad as well as the mentoring programme for the school’s visiting students.

WI-AG is a working group of the University of Münster School of Business and Economics’ student representatives. It is a working group by and for Information Systems students and is concerned with all areas of study and of information systems. In addition to advisory activities and the organisation of events and activities such as the Information Systems summer party, excursions or questionnaire campaigns, the tasks include above all the representation of students’ interests as regards their studies, which are expressed in a discussion with professors, among other things. The student representatives’ WI-AG can be found in the basement of the Information Systems building.
