Welcome Diana!

We would like to introduce Diana. Diana is a doctoral student at Bucharest University of Economic Studies (ASE Bucharest) focusing on the impact of new technologies on consumer behaviour, blending neuromarketing, AI, VR/AR, and advertising research. Specifically, she investigates how emerging technologies transform the way consumers process, interpret, and respond to digital advertising. Her main goal is to develop a simple, ownable theoretical model that explains technology-driven shifts in consumer attention and trust. Diana‘s current focus areas include:

> Eye-tracking experiments (Tobii, SMI, Clueify)

> AI-generated vs. human-generated content

> Cognitive and affective consumer responses

At the University of Münster she is conducting a research stay at the Chair of Digital Transformation until the end of November. Here, she is collaborating closely with Prof. Sebastian Hohenberg and Patrick Wöhnl on research directions connected to consumer decision-making in virtual environments and the 3VIS framework.

Besides research and university, Diana loves to spend her leisure time with her dog ”Lady“and is an avid reader, especially drawn to topics like consumer psychology, behavioural science, and personal development. Before starting her PhD, she founded and ran a digital marketing agency, where she worked on strategy, branding, and performance marketing for diverse clients.

We are very happy to have you with us and hope you continue to have a great time in Münster!
