The seminar will be held by Dr. Jörg Krämer, Chief Economist at Commerzbank.

Students can earn 6 ECTS credits for the module “Advanced Macroeconomics” (Vertiefung Volkswirtschaftslehre). The examination consists of writing and presenting a seminar paper (15–20 pages) as well as active participation in the discussions during the block seminar. Please note that the number of participants is limited. Each topic will be assigned to a maximum of two students, and topics will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis (“Windhund principle”). All relevant information—including the list of topics, registration procedures, and dates—will be published on the homepage of the Institute for International Economics. Please pre-register with the chair by indicating your preferred topic. The official registration will take place through the Examinations Office during the early exam registration phase.
