Spatial Business Research

This research group focuses on advancing business research through three-dimensional, virtual, and interactive spaces (3VIS), enabled by breakthroughs in spatial technologies such as virtual, augmented, and mixed reality (VR, AR, MR). These immersive environments combine high external validity, similar to field research, with the controlled conditions of laboratory experiments.

The group explores how spatial technologies influence human behavior, organizational practices, and societal trends. By integrating expertise in behavioral science and spatial computing, it aims to shape the future of business research through interdisciplinary approaches and 3VIS methodologies. The group also leverages the eXtend platform at the University of Münster, contributing to the development of a global research infrastructure for spatial business research.
