Future of Work Science

This research group takes a scientific approach to understanding the rapidly evolving landscape of work, examining how technological advances, changing employee expectations, and innovative organizational practices are reshaping the future of work. The group conducts empirical research on emerging work models such as remote and hybrid arrangements, flexible scheduling, and organizational transparency practices, and their impact on employee well-being, collaboration patterns, and organizational effectiveness.

Key areas of investigation include work time reduction initiatives, such as shorter workweeks and compressed schedules, and their effects on employee engagement and productivity. The group also explores organizational transparency, including how transparent goal-setting and performance systems influence employee motivation, cooperation, and workplace dynamics. Additionally, the research examines the evolution of leadership practices in modern work environments and the long-term implications for organizational culture and structure. By applying scientific methodologies to study these workplace transformations, the group generates evidence-based insights that help organizations navigate the complexities of the future of work while optimizing outcomes for both employees and businesses.
