Eine integrative Fallstudienanalyse zur prozeßorientierten Reorganisation

Schewe, Gerhard/Kleist, Sebastian/Rothländer, Marc

During the past decade many firms have changed their organisational form towards structures with a stronger focus on their business processes. These process oriented reorganisations have been reflected in the literature by a multitude of case studies. This systematic analysis of ten case studies in Germany, Austria and Switzerland identifies barriers against the reorganisations and crucial factors for their success. The barriers can be divided into behavioural, organisational and informational barriers. Although organisational barriers seem to be relatively insignificant, the main focus of activity in the reorganisation projects lies on measurements to overcome these organisational barriers. In comparison, less measurements aim at the more numerous and possibly more important behavioural and informational barriers.
