Our approach to sustainability is best captured by the concept of Societal Impact. As the largest faculty at the University of Münster, one of the leading schools of business and economics in Germany, and a driver of innovation in the region, we contribute to shaping the economic, social, and ecological future of society. This means:
- We educate our students to become responsible economists and business leaders, guided by the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.
- Our researchers develop solutions to pressing challenges of the future and engage in interdisciplinary networks.
- As an institution strongly rooted in the region, we actively transfer knowledge into practice and society—for example, through our Sustainability Lab.
- We integrate sustainability into our structures and strategies and implement a wide range of measures to promote a Green Campus.
- We are committed to diversity, equal opportunity, and gender equality for all members of our faculty—students, staff, and researchers alike.
