The School of Business and Economics honours research work that is distinguished by a special reference to practice. The Dr. Andreas Dombret doctoral thesis award is awarded once every academic year for a dissertation in which the combination of theoretical knowledge and concrete application in economic and economic policy practice succeeds in an outstanding manner.

The REACH Thesis Award is an initiative of the REACH EUREGIO Start-up center to recognize highly innovative bachelor, master, and PhD theses carried out at the University of Münster. It has a focus on applied science and research that can be used as the basis for product development and innovation.
