Habilitation

After successfully completing their doctorate at the School of Business & Economics, academics can pursue a habilitation. The habilitation aims at the recognition of the teaching qualification in one or more scientific subjects. The requirements for habilitation are the preparation of a habilitation thesis and a scientific lecture based on it, followed by a colloquium. The habilitation is intended to test whether academics are able to represent their subject in research and teaching. Further information, such as the habilitation regulations of the School, are available on Learnweb.
