The following modules are offered as part of the bachelor's degree programmes:
- "Statistics": This module teaches the basic statistical knowledge required for the economics programmes. This includes both descriptive statistics and economic statistics (Statistics 1) and probability calculus and statistical inference (Statistics 2). It is irrelevant whether you first attend Statistics 1 (in the winter semester) or Statistics 2 (in the summer semester).
- "Empirical Economics": Students of economics are introduced to the most important elementary econometric methods. The module is held in English.
- "Advanced Statistics": Students learn the statistical tools needed for econometrics.
- "Econometrics": This module introduces the linear regression model.
