The Dean’s Office is the centre of the School of Business and Economics. As an interface between the faculties, other university institutions and the external partners, the dean and his team control the strategic development of the school as regards research and teaching. In cooperation with foreign partner universities, nationally and internationally active companies as well as regional and national organisations and institutions, the curricula of the school are continuously adapted to the demands of an attractive training programme. Numerous future-oriented practical projects are conducted and the degree courses and services offered by the faculty are continuously expanded in close cooperation with professors, staff, student representatives, student initiatives and the alumni. Furthermore, the Dean’s Office is responsible for coordinating events and controlling funds and staff appropriations adequately and efficiently. In addition, the Dean’s Office is the point of contact for the supervision and organisation of PhD projects at the School of Business and Economics.
