The objective of this project is to examine, whether and to what extent collaboration of health care providers (e.g. physicians, hospitals and rehab hospitals), in so-called integrated networks of provision, increase the quality and reduce the costs of health service.  In the project were deduced assumptions from academic coherence and factual circumstances. These assumptions were proven by interviews with health care providers. The analysis of the interviews has not been finished, yet. The integrated networks of provision will benefit of this analysis, as they can estimate their own position in comparison with the benchmark and afterwards improve their position. In addition, health insurance companies get information regarding sufficient room of improvement, in order to support the integrated networks of provision in best way and getting competitiveness on their market.
