Which Factors Do Influence the Satisfaction and Behavioural Intentions of Members in German Riding Clubs?
This study examines which service quality components influence satisfaction and behavioural intentions of riding club members in Germany. For the investigation Partial Least Squares equation modelling is applied. The data for the research were collected using an online survey. 464 members from 110 different riding clubs participated in the survey. The study concludes that the factors offerings’ range, facility, price/performance, club management and club culture have a significant influence on the total satisfaction of riding club members. Thereby the factor club culture has the strongest impact. Furthermore, the total satisfaction increases the willingness to recommend the club and decreases the willingness to resign from the club significantly.
