Abstract

The Responsibility of Economists for Economic Crises and the Economy in General

The recent global economic and financial crisis as well as the euro crisis are shortly outlined and analysed. Economists have been involved in theses crises and their overcoming. However, their part should not be overrated. More research of relevant problems and a better transfer of research results would be desirable but the incentive structures in economics should be improved for this.
