As one of the leading business schools in Germany, Münster is proud to welcome highly qualified visiting scholars from all over the world for teaching and/or research assignments. The purpose of the visiting scholars’ program is to attract outstanding scholars who can contribute to and enrich our community’s intellectual and research endeavors. Besides contributions to research, scholars are often expected to actively participate in teaching activities.

The program stimulates joint international research activities, increases the number of lectures and courses in English, expands the School’s international contacts and networks worldwide and advances mobility. Visiting scholars profit from new research projects, expanded international networks as well as excellent research and teaching conditions.

Our visiting scholars and their families are supported by the  Welcome Center of the University of Münster in getting established and preparing for their stay in Münster. Scholars can get in touch with the Welcome Center before they come to Germany if they have any questions regarding administrative or practical issues.
