    Bryan Caplan is Professor of Economics at the Center for Study of Public Choice at George Mason University. His fields of interest range from public economics and public choice to psychology and economics as well as the economics of the family. He has published in major journals like American Economic Review, Journal of Public Economics, European Journal of Political Economy and Public Choice, and he is well known for his book “The Myth of the Rational Voter” published with Cambridge University press.

    Professor Caplan is visiting the Center for Interdisciplinary Economics (CIW), and there he mainly teaches the course “Advanced Public Choice”. He also participates in the doctoral seminar of the Chair of Political Economy at CIW.
