Doctoral programme
The following modules are regularly offered for doctoral students:
- Doctoral research seminar Econometrics and Empirical Economic Research
- Econometrics PhD: The following econometric estimation methods are discussed in detail: maximum likelihood; instrument variables; GMM; indirect inference; bootstrapping. On the one hand, the methods are deduced theoretically and on the other hand, they are used (in programming language R) for the practical estimation of many statistical models.
- In addition, there are other methodological courses for doctoral students (e. g. panel data, multivariate time series analysis, Bayesian statistics and MCMC, stochastic dynamic optimization). These are offered in irregular intervals.
