Welcome Christian Zimny!

Christian has joined our team on 1st January.

He got his master’s degree at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) focusing on artificial intelligence in service systems, machine learning and the neurophysiological investigation of the improvement of productivity and general well-being based on psychological phenomena such as the flow experience.

During his studies, he completed two semesters at Marmara University in Istanbul and served as a tutor for various courses at the KIT. Through his practical experience in the strategic project management of new product projects at Daimler AG, he has already been able to experience the increasingly enormous importance of digital transformation in the industry.

His research interest center particularly on the impact of new technologies such as virtual reality/mixed reality (VR/MR) on productivity and overall well-being in the context of digital transformation. His focus is on the neurophysiological study and reinforcement of peak performance/flow experience, as well as the reduction of excessive cognitive and digitally induced stress.

Additionally, he’s interested in the interdisciplinary transfer of diverse research streams linking economics, psychology, and the human body. In addition to reading, he spends his free time doing sports such as calisthenics, strength training, and dancing. The combination of these activities with meditative processes, the underlying physiological processes and connection to nature represent a great fascination for him.

We wish him the very best and look forward to working together!
