    What tasks did you take on at our Institute?  

    Most of my work has been in research support, including literature reviews and data analysis. In teaching, I prepared content for tutorials and helped with the and helped with the preparation of a case study. I also provided administrative support by designing presentations and an Excel tool.

    How did the Institute support you in your studies? 

    On the one hand, the chair supported me with good courses. Especially the practice-oriented course "From Data to Insights" prepared me for my empirical master thesis. In addition, the various tasks I have taken on in research have given me important skills for my own scientific work.

    What did you like most about your work at the Institute?

    What I liked most was the exchange with the other team members. Without the team, the work would not have been half as enjoyable. In the discussions with colleagues, I not only learned a lot from a professional I also developed personally and received valuable tips, for example, on how to start my career. valuable tips on starting my career, for example.

    What tasks did you take on at our Institute?  

    I was a tutor in the module "BWL 3 - Controlling", corrected exams and supported the scientific staff in various empirical research projects.

    How did the Institute support you in your studies? 

    The institute provides a very interesting range of courses with a focus on controlling, corporate management, strategy implementation and performance measurement. I would particularly like to highlight the course "From Data to Insights: Driving Corporate Performance". It not only prepared me for an empirical seminar and master's thesis, but also for a career start in practice. In addition, the BWL 3 tutorials helped me to improve my presentation skills and develop personally.

    What did you like most about your work at the Institute?

    The close and trusting cooperation on interesting topics and, of course, our team events (joint lunch, miniature golf, Christmas party, etc.).

    What tasks did you take on at our Institute?  

    I was allowed to support the scientific projects of the doctoral students and also worked on administrative processes. In addition, I was a tutor for the bachelor course Controlling.

    How did the Institute support you in your studies? 

    Through my work at the chair, I was able to gain deep insights into scientific work, which helped me a lot in terms of both content and methodology when writing seminar papers & the master's thesis. In addition, the work can be optimally combined with my studies thanks to the flexible working hours.

    What did you like most about your work at the Institute?

    The great team around Professor Artz and the open communication. Contact persons were always available for questions or suggestions. Despite the pandemic, a lot of emphasis was placed on exchange within the entire team and (digital) events were regularly organized.

    What tasks did you take on at our Institute? 

    The work was very varied: giving tutorials, creating lecture slides, setting up questionnaires, research support including working with databases, assisting with equipment procurement, benchmarks of various kinds and much more.

    How did the Institute support you in your studies? 

    The doctoral students and Mr. Artz himself always offer their help, also with regard to their own career planning, with the help of a broad network in practice and research. The assistance of this kind was worth its weight in gold for me and contributed significantly to finding my entry-level job.

    What did you like most about your work at the Institute?

    The short communication channels and the flexibility in the work. You work at eye level and there is a very pleasant working atmosphere. I am still very attached to the chair today and the activities outside of teaching and research have always been fun, because it is a very harmonious team. Accordingly, I still try to visit the chair regularly!

    What tasks did you take on at our Institute? 

    I was a tutor for the Bachelor course "Controlling", supported in the organization of the excercises and assisted in the preparation of teaching materials for various courses of the Institute.

    How did the Institute support you in your studies? 

    First and foremost, the Institute has contributed to a large part of my enthusiasm for my studies through interesting events and a consistently modern teaching style. In addition, the work at the Institute has supported me through insights into various scientific areas, as well as in the methods of scientific work and has prepared me for my future career path.

    What did you like most about your work at the Institute?

    I liked the cooperation within the Institute and the constructive feedback provided by Prof. Artz and the research assistants.

    What tasks did you take on at our Institute?

    I supported the creation of a concept for the Institute's website, the construction of the website as well as its updating and expansion. Furthermore, I revised tutorials on ACM 01, developed a newsletter and took on other tasks in the area of HR. Additionally, I was able to work on a Harvard Business School Case Study.

    How did the Institute support you in your studies?

    Insights into scientific work as well as thematic impressions prepared me for the Master thesis at the Institute; regular contact with Mr. Artz and the scientific staff provided good information for the choice of master modules as well as interesting internships.

    What did you like most about your work at the Institute?

    The close cooperation and good and open communication between the SHKs, with Mr. Artz, the scientific staff and Betty. Also, the variety of tasks, the flexibility and the extracurricular events.

    What tasks did you take on at our Institute?

    I supported the scientific staff with different research topics, as well as with the conception of different lecture presentations and the correction of exams.

    How did the Institute support you in your studies?

    By offering various training courses on topics such as PowerPoint or Python. Also, in improving my research skills by working on research projects.

    What did you like most about your work at the Institute?

    The always good and cooperative relationship between the research assistants and student assistants, which was fostered by regular Institute events.
