Call for Papers

The annual conference includes a core conference with invited guest lecturers on the topic “Economic Development – Theory and Policy” as well as open meeting sessions with any topic to choose from. Papers and organized sessions belonging to any field of economics can be submitted for the open conference. When submitting please follow the instructions on the society’s homepage (www.socialpolitik.eu).
Submissions will be evaluated by anonymous experts and thereupon chosen by the preparatory commission. The commission’s decision can be expected before May 15th 2015. To be considered for a lecture at the conference, membership within the Verein für Socialpolitik is obligatory. However, membership can still be applied for after the paper has been accepted. Accepted papers will be published on the publication database EconStor at the National Library of Economics (Leibniz Information Centre for Economics) as part of their collection of all VfS-conference papers. Other forms of publication by the Verein für Socialpolitik are not intended.
